JJ Oelofse

Jean-Jacques Pierre Oelofse (JJ) - Head Coach - High School Boys 15s

Coach JJ was born and raised in South Africa where he started playing rugby at the age of 4. He played representative rugby at a number of age group levels before culminating in playing for Leicester Tigers, a professional rugby club in the United Kingdom. A few rugby career highlights include playing against the British Barbarians rugby club, a number of international teams including Fiji and making my first team debut for Leicester Tigers at the age of 19.

Coach JJ has over 20 years of rugby coaching experience including Westville Boys High School (South Africa), Diggers (South Africa), Zambia National Team 15s & 7s (Zambia).

Fun Fact: In Coach JJ's high school, they had over 30 Rugby teams!!

Casey Farrell

Casey Farrell - Head Coach - Coed 5/6 grade

Coach Casey is originally from Oak Lawn, IL. He started playing rugby in college and has been playing on and off for over 20 years.

Fun fact: Coach casey has 4 kids playing rugby in the youth program

Erik Larsen

Erik Larsen- Head Coach - Coed 5/6 Grade

As a founding member of Zionsville Rugby in 2003, Erik has played and coached for over 20 years. His coaching experience includes youth teams as well as high school boys and girls. While currently residing in Carmel with his wife Valeriya, Erik has stayed dedicated to his Zionsville roots and looks forward to helping develop a love of the game in our young players.
